Tori Burch Flats Vs. Rubi Shoes Flats

I've been Eyeing off a pair of Tori Burch flats for a while now and couldn't justify buying them so I was thrilled to find a look-a-like pair in Cotton On (Rubi Shoes).

The Rubi Shoes flats come in black, nude and burgundy. I bought mine in burgundy.

This, to me, was an amazing find and I don't think I have ever been this excited about a pair of shoes.

Prices:

Tori Burch $195

Rubi Shoes $29.95

Amore Gelato

I think I may have found the perfect gelato. The type of gelato I tried to find in Italy but couldn't! The type of gelato that was so smooth in texture - silky even, with the right amount of flavour, and melted oh-so-lovely in the mouth.

It tasted like authentic gelato should taste! What made it more authentic were the Italians sitting outside with their caffe` and speaking in their mother tongue.

Where did we get it?

Amore Gelato in Northbridge.

Moschino Clutch

Uuummm...Yes please!

I love this clutch so I'm on the hunt for this or something similar.

Quando In Roma...

When I went to Italy last spring I was delighted that there were plenty of shops that we didn't have in Australia, especially in Western Australia. So I had a lot of fun wandering through the fashion racks in Zara, H&M, United Colors of Benetton and OVS, just to name a few.

What I couldn't get used to, though, is how different the fashion must be especially when considering the fact that I saw loads of turtle necks!

There were loads of colour too. Good for colour blocking, yes, but I'm not so sure how good colour blocking mustard yellow and royal blue would go. The variety of different colours was extreme!

I must admit that even though I had front row seats to the fashion that was about to hit Australia for winter 2012 I didn't take up the opportunity to stock up on anything. I found it all to different for my liking, and besides we were coming into summer in Australia, not winter. However, after seeing it in shops here in Australia I think I am finally starting to warm to the idea of all these new colours available...especially all the coloured jeans I am starting to see (yes, even the mustard yellow ones!).

Here are a few pictures of what's in our stores now for winter 2012, that I saw in Italy September 2011.
