Nail Polish Colour Review: O.P.I Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window

I borrowed this O.P.I colour from a friend. Well, we switched my O.P.I Stranger Tides and her O.P.I Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window for a week just to try different green nail polish for ourselves.

This Green from O.P.I, depending on how you look at it, looks likes green olives, sewage or pureed seaweed. Forgetting all that, it is a pretty green colour and something a little different.

Two thick coats on each nail achieved this look.

Project Pan!!!

I began my project pan almost a week ago. I really didn't want to have to do it because I have new products that I really like to use, and would prefer to use them, but I really think I need to gain some control of my buying and really appreciate what I already have by using up my chosen pan products first. Trust me when I say that it should be a while before I will have to go out and by anything hair, body, or makeup related!

So, here are my rules I have set up for my project pan:

1. I am allowed to buy hairspray, dry shampoo and shampoo as I need to.

2. I am giving myself 3 months to use up what I can. I think this may be where my project pan may differ a little but I think if I can last 3 months with this project it will be well worth it.

3. I need to not just hit pan but actually use up the whole item...cut open the tube if I need to!

Beauty Tip Seven: How to Neaten Nail Polish Application

I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was such a great idea I had to share.

To apply nail polish neatly just apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around the sides of your nails. Then, if you happen to make a mistake and get nail polish on your cuticles you can easily wipe the polish away.

Such a simple trick!

Tori Burch High Heels Booties

O.M.G. I saw these on shopbop.com and fell in love! I which it were winter because I can't justify buying them now since it's not. Let's hope they're still around in about 3 months time!

On a mission to stretch!

I went to Myer yesterday and when I was there I saw these brown Tony Bianco heels on sale. They were the last pair and although the display shoe fit perfect the other shoe is a half size too small (but still wearable).

So now my mission is to stretch it by wearing them around the house.

Does anyone else do this? Or do you have another way of stretching your shoes?

Clarins Gentle Peeling Review

I LOVE Clarins. There is no other beauty brand I like better for my skin care. One product I am particularly besotted with is their Gentle Peeling Smooth Away Cream which discovered when asking about exfoliating masks at a Clarins counter in Myer last year. I love how it goes on, I love how it comes off and I love what it does for my skin. My skin feels softer, its smoother, it glows, and my pores look smaller.

With this product all you have to do is apply a thin layer to your face, avoiding the eye area, and leave it on for 1 minute (or until completely dry - but it should only take a minute as you only need a thin layer!) To remove it just use your fingers and run them lightly over your skin in a sweeping (light rubbing) motion to 'buff' off the mask taking with it dead skin and other impurities. Any residue that you may have left on your face you can just wash away with luke warm water.

I particularly like using this product then following with the Clarins HydraQuench Intensive serum.

New O.P.I Polishes

I went to my local hairmart today and found these great shades.
Rainbow connection - a glitter polish which is part of the Muppets collection.
Stranger tides - a light khaki green.
Your thoughts of them together?
